In 2020, the global pandemic shifted all educational initiatives online. As part of this transformation, we digitized the annual project catalog for Yandex Data Science School (Y-Data), creating a modern online platform for students to explore real-world projects offered by partner companies.
The main goal was to ensure fast and intuitive access to project descriptions and collaboration details. Since students often review and choose projects in real time, the experience needed to be immediate, fluid, and distraction-free.
We designed and developed a long-scroll one-page website, where each project is represented as a compact module. Additional information about each project, company, or requirements is loaded seamlessly via interactive pop-up windows, ensuring a smooth and focused browsing experience.
This solution helped Y-Data streamline their project selection process, keeping students engaged and informed — even in a fully remote environment.
